Yoga and Resilience: Empowering Practices for Survivors of Sexual Trauma is a collaboration of leading experts dedicated to addressing the impacts of sexual trauma through yoga and mindfulness practices. The work supports a holistic approach to ameliorating the impacts of traumatic stress, and specifically the impacts of sexual trauma.

Join Dr. Gail Parker, Ph.D., C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, YACEP for this groundbreaking, one-of-a-kind series. This is six-part online course invites everyone, not just people of color, to consider the psychological impact of ethnic and race based stress and trauma on all of us, and how we in the yoga community can contribute to healing the wounds that result.

Every year, 25 leaders in particular sectors of the yoga service field gather at Omega for a 5-day series of collaborative brainstorming sessions dedicated to identifying shared “best practices”: that is, norms, standards and practices that support teaching yoga and mindfulness in ways that are safe, effective, inclusive, and supported by experiential- and/or research-based expertise.
