During this 90 minute lecture and discussion, Hala will share a framework for trauma informed yoga and simple tools for making a yoga practice trauma sensitive.  Unresolved trauma impacts our ability to self regulate, causing anxiety, depression, hypervigilance, or dissociation.  Trauma survivors can benefit greatly from yoga because yoga can help us reconnect to our body in a safe and healthy way, allowing for greater resilience and stability.
